Robert W. Pittman is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Clear Channel, a leading global media, digital and entertainment company which includes Clear Channel Media & Entertainment, which has a greater reach than any other radio or television outlet in the United States reaching over 243 million listeners every month, and Clear Channel Outdoor, with over one million displays in over 30 countries. Pittman is the co-founder and programmer who led the team that created MTV and has been CEO of MTV Networks, AOL Networks, Six Flags Theme Parks, Quantum Media, Century 21 Real Estate, and Time Warner Enterprises. He was also COO of America Online, Inc. and later of AOL Time Warner. He is a founding member of Pilot Group, LLC, a New York Private investment firm, and is an established philanthropist. Pittman’s history in radio began at age 15 when he worked as an on-air announcer in his native Mississippi; he went on to successfully program a number of radio stations, including WNBC in New York. Among other recognition, he was named one of Advertising Age's "10 Marketers Who Changed American Culture" and "50 Pioneers and Visionaries of TV," and one of LIFE Magazine's "Five Original Thinkers of the '80s."
Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President
Thomas W. Casey has served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of CC Media Holdings, Inc., Clear Channel Communications, Inc. and Clear Channel Outdoor Holdings, Inc. since January 2010. Prior to Clear Channel, Casey served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Washington Mutual, Inc.; Vice President of General Electric Company; and Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of GE Financial Assurance. Casey started his career with Coopers & Lybrand and is a graduate of King’s College.
Executive Vice President and Chief Communications Officer
Wendy Goldberg is Executive Vice President and Chief Communications Officer for Clear Channel. She oversees and executes strategic communications for the family of Clear Channel brands, including Media and Entertainment and Outdoor, and is also responsible for the company’s internal and external communications; marketing of brands and products; financial communications; business-to-business marketing support; crisis communications; and developing and coordinating strategy for local marketing efforts. Goldberg has more than 15 years’ experience in providing management and strategic counsel to companies and their senior leaders. She served as Vice President of Business Development and Strategy for Hearst Entertainment & Syndication; Senior Vice President of Communications for Six Flags; and Vice President of Communications at America Online and then at AOL Time Warner. She also served as Press Secretary to the Administrator at the U.S. Small Business Administration and was a Vice President at RLM Finsbury, a global strategic communications firm headquartered in London and New York.
Robert H. Walls, Jr.
Executive Vice President and General Counsel
Walls joined Clear Channel in January 2010 and oversees the company’s legal and government affairs departments. Prior, he served as Managing Director and is a founding partner of Post Oak Energy Capital, a private equity firm dedicated to investing equity and debt, in energy and energy service companies. Walls also served as a member of the Office of the CEO and as Executive Vice President and General Counsel at Enron Corp., post-bankruptcy, and was a lawyer at Vinson & Elkins LLP where he practiced energy, finance and international law.
Chairman and CEO, Media and Entertainment
Hogan was named Chairman and CEO of Clear Channel’s Media and Entertainment division in February 2012. Prior, he held the role as President and CEO since August 2002 and has led the company’s expansion beyond its broadcast radio roots into new businesses and technologies. He has overseen the development of an infrastructure and culture that united Clear Channel’s 850 stations across 150 cities into a single integrated organization, transforming it into America’s only radio company that offers true local presence combined with national reach. Hogan’s vision for the radio industry has been honed and cultivated over more than two decades of hands-on radio broadcasting experience, beginning in 1981 in Atlanta, Georgia, where he started his career as an account executive with Meredith Broadcasting.
Chief Executive Officer, Clear Channel Outdoor Holdings, Inc.
Eccleshare oversees the two divisions of Clear Channel Outdoor Holdings, Clear Channel Outdoor Americas and Clear Channel International, positioning the company to use all its assets on a coordinated global basis, leveraging its full scale, relationships and best practices to provide the most innovative and responsive advertising and marketing programs for its clients. In addition, Eccleshare leads the development of new cutting-edge marketing strategies using Clear Channel’s groundbreaking new Digital Networks across the world. Prior to joining Clear Channel, he served in leadership roles at major advertising agencies, including Chairman and CEO at BBDO EMEA; Chairman of Young and Rubicam/Wunderman EMEA; Chairman and CEO of Ammirati Puris Lintas for Northern Europe; Global Strategic Planning Director of J. Walter Thompson Worldwide; and CEO, PPGH/JWT Amsterdam. He was also a Partner and Leader of the Marketing Practice at McKinsey & Co.
President of Entertainment Enterprises
John Sykes utilizes the unparalleled assets of Clear Channel to develop new businesses for the company across a range of media, including television and live events, as well as creates value for Clear Channel advertisers and key partners. Sykes helped to create Clear Channel’s record-setting iHeartRadio Music Festival, the company's first-ever national live music event, featuring 21 industry-leading performers, streamed live to millions on the web and televised on VH1. He has held leadership roles at a number of major brands across the music, entertainment and media spectrum, including President of VH1, President of Network Development for MTV Networks, CEO of Infinity Broadcasting (now CBS Radio), President of Champion Entertainment, President of Chrysalis Records and an agent at the Creative Artists Agency. Sykes is also a core member of the original team that created MTV and has worked with the Pilot Group on the restructuring of MGM studios as well as digital properties including Playlist.com and Shazam Mobile, where he serves as a board member. He currently serves on the boards of the Robin Hood Foundation, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Project RED, VH1 Save the Music and Syracuse University's Newhouse School of Communications.
Executive Vice President of Business Development and Corporate Strategy
Steven Cutler is Executive Vice President of Business Development and Corporate Strategy. He works with all aspects of the company to execute key initiatives and strategies as determined by the CEO and operating division leadership. In addition, he plays a lead role in major strategic agreements for the company. Prior to joining Clear Channel, Cutler spent six years at Pilot Group, a New York-based private investment firm, where he remains a member. He was an investment banker at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he worked on mergers and acquisitions, and capital markets transactions for media and consumer/retail companies. He was also an analyst at Jupiter Media Metrix Research, focusing on helping client companies build the digital aspects of their businesses online and on mobile platforms.
